Hayya, I haven’t posted anything in ages about theories becuase I’m very busy ;-;. However, there have been some very interesting discussions on hamefura discord server lately and I was like it’s a nice time to post this.

Those are some intersting facts that have been going in the chinese fandom. This time it’s not anything based on the lightnovel or source material but from a different prspective that’s much more important, the dynamics of the creator of Bakarina.

The original author, Satoru Yamaguchi, is a female writer who writes Otome’s novels. It was originally puplished on the website “Let’s Become a Novelist” “ 小説家になろう ” . My next life as villainess was originally scheduled to end with 35 chapter, that is when the graduation ceremony of the school of magic in the novel is over. After the final web chapter in 2015, the author wrote a few extra stories, and then continued to update the story after the serialization in cooperation with Yixun.

Shōsetsuka ni Narō should be the only place where you can get the latest news of the author Mrs.Yamaguchi Satoru who has written three novels in total: Reincarnation, a male protagonist’s perspective, and a short story of a female protagonist that was posted to Reincarnation in a romantic serial. All are normal shoujo romance series that don’t include any harem, yuri or such of this sort ending.

The main tags used mostly by her in her works are: Otome Game, Reincarnation, Romance, Magic, Inverse Harem (regardless of male and female), rivals. (No yuri, Bi-sexual or any orange labels)

In addition to writing novels by herself, Mrs. Yamaguchi also collected and favourited other writers’ stories and works. I saw that her favorite genres are basically: Reincarnations, Romance , Girl comics (Shoujo), Love, Princes, Princesses…

Speaking of this, I have to mention that the publishing house to which the original novel of Bakaruna belongs - (Yixunsha Bunku アイリス) is a girl-oriented (Shoujo) publisher run by Ichijinsha for girl romance book series.
There are also spin-off novels of some of the well-known B-games ( games that are made with a budget, usually a small to medium one) such as Alice in the Country of Hearts. All series mainly end up with exptected endgame ending, more specifically prince/ main male lead -princess/main female lead.

Also you all keep in mind that the author is watching us and is between us in the japanese fandom where they adore Keith and Gerald the most “ I am very happy to have so many viewers watching this animation. I’m watching everyone’s comments very seriously. “

In short, aside Gerald’s many obvious many moments in the main series and him being the main lead, that’s why I also personally believe that Gerald’s endgame and that the series won’t go in the direction of harem or yuri ending.

In another post I will talk and translate some of the animation team’s opinions and pages that are wrriten in the animation book. They all also point to similar results with Gerald being end-game if I compare. However, of course with the animation team it diverse widely and there are shippers of all ships and the boss’s favorite is Alan which explains a lot so it’s still interesting to know.

Thank you for the sweet words, I’m glad to know that someone is enjoying the short stories.

SS means special edition. It’s more like special illustration cards that comes with the novel volume where there’s a very short story written on their back. They are actually quite popular, you know those?

Those are SS material, and this is how the story that I translate on the back looks like:

As you can see no wonder most short stories and SS material are Geokata centered. They are almost everywhere. I hope this clears it!

Oh gosh, of course, it is!! I’m just slow because I have been busy with other projects but it will definitely come very soon. Also with another awesome collabed charm with @masterhandss .

I might be taking a lot of time but I’m trying my best to make it as cheap as possible and since it’s my first time I also need to make sure I’m setting everything correctly so I don’t cause anyone a problem. However, I might be clumsy, but I will try my very best, and thank you so much for your support, I totally appreciate it.

And it means the world knowing that someone has been waiting for them. (I literally thought everyone forgot about it). I hope I can deliver good Geokata charms, but please don’t expect a lot from my filthy hands.

[Translation] Short story: SS bonus of the third volume

Hello, I’m back with another hamefura short story. This one is an SS material included in the third volume’s special edition. Just as any bonus SS story it’s really short but nevertheless sweet as always.

The timeline of the story is set during the preperations of the magic academy’s festival, where Katarina and Maria decided to sell Maria’s handmade sweets.

As the day of the school festival approaches, the preparations are getting worked on. As a result, the workload for me, the student council president, Gerald Stuart, has never been heavier.

Of course I’m not the only one, the other student council members have a whole lot of work to do and are busy.

So it was yet another hectic day in the student council’s office today.

When I was about to finish the confirmation document sent to hand, I was just about to take a break.

“Gerald-sama, if it’s convenient, would you like to try some of these?”

Maria Campbell, a member of the student council, said so, as she offered me some tea and sweets. The timing was perfect. This girl is really smart.

"Thank you. It will be my pleasure.”

I accepted the sweets and tea with a smile. I held it in my hand and saw that it wasn’t a commercially made snack.

“Are those sweets that Maria made by herself?”

Maria’s hobby is making sweets, and she can make delicious snacks to entertain everyone.

“Well, this is actually a trial product to be sold at the Academy Festival. It would be great if you could give us your opinion.”

“The sweets to be sold? Oh, it was Katarina who suggested it, wasn’t it?”

“Yes”

The person who proposed selling Maria’s handmade sweets at the school festival was my fiancée, Katarina. At first, she said she wanted to sell vegetables that she grew herself, but after finally persuading her to dispel her thoughts, now we’re going with this plan.

I felt a little bad for putting the trouble and heavy work on Maria. But fortunately she seemed very happy once we started making them.

So I put the snack she served me kindly in my mouth.

“Huh, what is this?”

I said as I found something running out of the snack’s center. It looked like a piece of paper.

“Ah, at the suggestion of Katarina-sama, I tried to put in something called fortune-telling. I heard it is similar to divination.”

“divination…”

It’s amazing how Katarina occasionally brings up knowledge that even I don’t know, just like now.

I tried to open the small piece of paper that was placed in the snack. The result was that it said:

【Your Heart will be conveyed to your sweetheart in the near future.】

( or: The heart will be communicated to the beloved in the near future.)

I can hardly believe it but… even if it’s just a piece of paper, it made me feel a little better.

But just when my mood improved slightly, my beloved fiancée came running and said, "Ah, Maria, I have been looking for you! How about poem cookies?“ Treating me completely as air, she began to chat familiarly with Maria, who had as always a shy expression.

Completely treated as an outsider, I squeezed within my hand the piece of paper that ran out of the sweets tightly.
