Hei all!! you wanna tell me that no one is translating all the adorable short special stories released on the website, blurays or with the SS version ?? THIS IS NOT OKAY AT ALL
Unfortunately, since it’s all specials it won’t be included in the volumes which means J-Novels will never translate all these quality stuff. For that reason I decided to translate some of them. (I have like zero faith in my skills so some is better than nothing).
It’s all short stories so it’s easier to transalte than chapters. As far as I know (since it’s also on the offical website) it’s all written by the author which means it’s all canon. I’m going to transalte only the stories I’m 99% sure of it meaning, such as this easy one.
Basically this story was published on the website close to the release date of volume 9, it’s very likely that it’s a part of the SS material ?? anyway it’s freaking cute and you feel a kind of deja vu with the events of volume 6 but no worries there’s no spoilers and everyone can read it.

Inspired by the Japanese version. This project is made to create a fan-novel to celebrate the couple Gerald Stuart and Katarina Claes from destruction flag otome series.
A fan-novel is a brilliant chance to bring artist and writers to work togther. The whole idea is to create a novel similar to the light novel by fans where writers write short stories and each one of them is assigned to an artist who draws a couple of thier scenes. In addtion, there’s a possibility for some manga pages and merch to be included with the fanovel according to how the form results will turn out.
The first fanovel project will center on Geokata and depending on how successful this is going to be, it’s very likely that another project centered on another ship will be created in the future.

I'm curious with the plot of the upcoming novels. I'm already at volume 5 and the volume 6 translation of the novel is not gonna be in until june 2020. Jeord and Katarina will always be my favorite ship. I honestly think that Katarina should be queen. She can change their kingdom. What are your thoughts on this? I also loved the dynamic between Katarina and her parents. Will we see more of them in the upcoming volumes? Thank you so much.

I marveled at how Catalina was so spoiled and felt the strong love in the prince at the same time.
I’ve been in the intricacies of a harem and have worked as a mercenary who comes and goes. So this was an overly dazzling sight for me.

Hello :DD There's this line of text in Katarina's page in the hamefura wikia page that says "Katarina eventually begins to develop feelings for Geordo but she feels so insecure and inferior to the other woman, that she suppresses her feelings and supports him and Maria´s relationship ", and as someone who is up to date with the LN, I was wondering if I could know from you if this is accurate to her character? is she really falling for Geordo?? :00
(Attention - spoilers form future volumes where this came from + stuff from JP Wikia because I don’t have much time on hand)
Before anything, I know that I also said she was falling for Gerald at some point, that’s not completely wrong if you reflect on all the events on volumes but however, it was never completely clearly said that Katarina’s indeed in love with Gerald. Mainly because Katarina’s dense and as a result, she will even be dense to her own feelings and even if she came to realize it she will still not believe it. Besides, that means almost the end of the series in my opinion so no.
I’m honestly not sure which or what everyone is referring to by saying this exactly because so much happened but I believe the whole story started with this coming from Volume 6-7 and specifically this quote where Katarina was confessing to herself about her feelings towards Gerald:
“Even after eveything …. to be honest, there are times when I still think he’s joking. Because no matter how I look at it, I’m not a good match for Gerald. And besides, I’m also..“
Since her consciousness was pulled back before she could continue, what she was going to say was in the reader’s imagination. The true meaning of this is unknown.
Also, all along Katarina keeps on comparing herself to Maria and others, as well as never considering herself worthy of Gerald. Katarina’s dense and since those are Katarina’s feelings, we can only know for sure about her feelings from herself, that’s why I think it’s going the direction of everyone around her figuring her feelings out before herself.
Now, I can’t tell you how much screams this resulted in the fandom. Everyone was like “Geokata is canon?!! yess” or “Keith ma child no”.
But at the end of the day, it’s not confirmed but only implied. I don’t believe that the rest of that sentence involves anything stupid because she was seriously for once reflecting on it and that was as a result of Gerald’s love-actions and since this is a contra sentenceit’s heavily implied that the rest of the sentence is something like that she also loves him but can’t return his feelings because she’s a villainess so she decided to support his relationships with a better girl (mainly maria I guess, especially since her friends’ happiness is more important to her than being kicked out the country) and watch her friends happy in the shadow. Katarina still believes that love changes people and that the prince or anyone can’t fall in love with the villainess. Someone also told me Katarina doesn’t believe that she deserves happiness which adds salt to the wound dkjlkdsgfdkg
Anywaypersonally, I think it’s heavily hinted from the start and all over the series that Gerald x Katarina will be something (There’s also Keith x Katarina and Maria x Katarina but geokata are the most hinted if I compare), that’s why when I wrote my older spoiler posts I considered this as a start point from the author to reveal Katarina’s feelings slowly. In other words, I can understand why almost everyone in the fandom is assuming this.
In general, Katarina at the moment is just insecure and having many issues and stuff that she needs to deal with first before thinking about her love life.
I feel like making some geokata charms and keychain after my exams are over… perhaps may contains some spoilers form untranslated future volumes from scenes that had hit me hard with feelings but idk so thoughts are welcome
